Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell (born on 25th August 1949) is an American TV chef who is a popular personality. She was also a former instructor of the Institute of Culinary Education. She is the host of Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Chef as well as the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, a Food Network host who has spiky blond locks and a lively appearance, shares tips on how you can cook dishes that are restaurant quality at home using simple methods. Chef Burrell has worked and studied at the top New York restaurants. He was also a part of Iron Chef America and the cuisine of Italy. As a youngster, living in the New York's upstate region, Burrell became passionate about food and cooking. The Culinary Institute of America was where she studied after earning an English degree and a Communications certificate in Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America is where I spent the most fun time of my life. The Culinary Institute of the Americas was an excellent opportunity to pursue a degree. Following graduation, Chef Burrell resided in Italy for a year, studying at classes at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. She also worked in La Taverna del Lupo and La Bottega del 30 (a Michelin starred restaurant) located in Tuscany. The time she spent in Italy has helped her understand and appreciate Italian philosophy and culture, which has had an impact on her own perception of food. Burrell has served on the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which brightens children who are facing obstacles and is also an Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation celebrity ambassador, where she advocates for children with diabetes and awareness. In her capacity as an inspirational speaker, she is on the road to speak about her passion for food as well as her career in the culinary field. Through her culinary adventures, Anne has always said I feel very fortunate to share my passion to others.
